Do you think the universe is finite or infinite?

I think the universe is finite because if it were infinite, there would be infinite copies of me, infinite copies of earth, and infinite copies of the observable universe, as well as other things not in our observable universe and then some.

I believe that the universe is so large that it is irrelevant whether or not it is infinite.

Look up in the sky at night... If any part of they sky is black then you have your answer

I'd hope the universe is infinite so there's a version of you that's a little smarter.

F, see me after class.

That isn't even remotely an argument. That's literally saying "I think it's this because I don't like that."

That's one of those things that kind of sounds smart until you think about it for two seconds and realize it's fucking retarded. The difference between an infinite universe and a finite one is categorical and incredibly significant philosophically. "Really really big" doesn't mean jack shit. The implications of an infinite universe are not present in a "really really big" one, so the question is meaningful.

stupid question and pathetic reasoning.

Not necessarily. That would only be true if the probabilities of those things occurring in some arbitrary finite amount of space are greater than zero. But it's perfectly possible that the probability of you existing in a finite space is "0", and that this only happened once or a finite number of times in the infinite universe.
>>
But there are, anon.
In this universe alone there is an infinite amount of possibilities, including Earths where time is ahead or behind by any discernible amount.

You have lived and died an infinite amount of ways and times throughout the history of the universe.

And do you even want to think about the very likely possibility of there being other verses out there, constituting a multiverse?

Infinity times infinity.
