So I guess the gorilla meme actually settled with /sci/ ? Fucking kill me.
Better than meme frog

No.

pick (-1)^0.5

>mathematicians
>knowing math
Pick one. Mathematicians only know their own highly specialized area of research. An algebraic geometry PhD can't tell you shit about research level graph theory.
>>7919896
a) It's the same with all other fields.
b) Who does know math then?
>>7919546
There's one fucking person forcing this meme
>>7919887
pick +i or -i ???
>>7919975
how the fuck could it be -i
>>7919536
I pick knowing math and physics
>>7919574
>>7919992
do you think -i is not a square root of -1?
(-i)*(-i) = -1

Found the engineer
>>7919992
Son.
You guys always hate on the engineers, but the way I see it, engineers are the ones who build cool stuff. Y'all just jelly, it's like the nerds vs. jocks thing.

>spend you day in a cubicle making incremental improvements on one of your company's products when not filling in spreadsheets and check compliance with boring standards
No thanks, I'll stick with expanding the frontier of human knowledge.

Gotta learn some English first.
>>7920354
Sorry, it is my fourth language after all.
>>7920315
engineers don't build any of the cool things used by physicists.

At undergrad level nobody knows anything you poor thing, it's all close enough, which is why an engineering undergrad can easily get accepted to a physics grad program, and vice versa for a physics undergrad.
Beyond that, an engineering undergrad can probably outscore a math undergrad in some math problems given time constraints, a math undergrad can solve anything an engineer undergrad faces, it's just that they are trained with specific set of tools for a specific set of problems which makes them quite efficient in those problems.
>>7920471
Also, go check who oliver heavside is, and check who are the most influential people in Aerodynamics field, I'll give you a hint, it's not physicists.
>>7920475
Go make up for your inferiority somewhere else. I heard plumbers are in demand lately.
>>7920481
>I heard plumbers are in demand lately.
Not really, even when they are, we can easily solve that problem by bringing in illegal immigrants. Cheap labour and helps evade law inforcements, mediocre engineers are doomed to work as cashiers at mcdonalds.

Wew mate
