How many hours a day do you sleep anon? Do you think sleep affects your intelligence?
>>
>>7913118
2 times 4 every 25 hours

I'm retarded now.
Used to sleep 9 hours per 24h and was sharp as fuck.
>>
>>7913118
Between 0 and 10 hours with no real consistent pattern.

I'm probably worse for it.
>>
>>7913118
I have insomnia, so it's really dependent on the day.
Sometimes I just drink myself to sleep and am out for 12 hours straight.
>>
>>7913118
4 hours
>>
>>7913118
I go to bed at 12:30/1:00 PM and I sleep for 7 hours and 45 minutes.
If I don't follow this schedule my sleep pattern is usually affected for several days.
>>
>>7913118
6h big sleep accompanied by 2 to 3 20 min light sleep throughout the day
>>
I sleep anywhere from 7-8 hours a day.

Sleep has been conclusively linked to concentration, alertness, memory retention, gut microbiome health, and a host of other things.

So yes, OP, sleep affects intelligence and your entire body. Sleep is so crucial that most people need to take drugs to prevent them from falling asleep when they stay awake for more than a measly 18 hours.
>>
average ~7,3 h/d

alcohol: wake up after less then 6,5 h :D

best power of reasoning little overtired before lunch typically some days into week, like wednesday
>>
>>7913118
I average about six hours of sleep per weekday but the amount I sleep a day varies from like 1.5 hours to 14. I have a weird schedule this semester.

Sleep definitely affects your intelligence but I don't know the specifics of it.

REM is very important

Ironically this is on the psychology exam I should have been studying for hours ago.
>It's in four and a half hours and I haven't slept yet
Good thing this class is fucking easy
>>
>>7914335
Hello fellow, exam in 4 hours on material from 3 lectures I didn't go to. Still have to study. Haven't slept in 17 hours. Not being able to manage time well has pretty shitty consequences.
>>
6-8 hours. If I sleep less than 6 hours I feel tired as fuck.
>>
>>7914335
recommend you to sleep at least 3,5 h of this time!
>>
>>7914360
Too late for that now :^)
>>
>>7914374
Well that was a nice 40 minutes of almost-sleep, time to get ready for school
>>
>>7913118
6 hours

if I'm tired I have trouble concentrating but a little nap sorts that out
>>
>>7913118
I often sleep more than 12 hours.
I often stay awake more than 24 hours (sometimes 40h without feeling tired).

I really feel good, but I can't go to work when they tell me to do
>>
7-9 hours, only nights, no naps.

Used to be fresh as a bird every morning. Unfortunately, recently got diagnosed with RLS, therefore there is absolutely no consistency, some days I feel great, some are completely shitty. When I haven't slept well first thing I notice is decreased speed of solving math problems, ability to follow conversations, oversensitivity to light, headache and anxiousness.

One does not appreciate full nights sleep until one looses it.
