Do any other smart people here get bored by normal people?
I've got an IQ of 150 and the inane things people my age say and do (18 years old here btw) gets old real fast. It makes socialising a real chore because I'm forced to talk about shit like snapchats and gossip for hours at a time instead of stuff like philosophy or politics which I prefer. Truthfully, it makes being smart more of a curse than a blessing.

Honestly I don't think my IQ is very high at all but I'm very sensitive to the "energy" that people give off.
I feel like I can tell instantly when a person is bored or annoyed when talking to me. I can't help seeing humans as more than smart animals. I don't really listen to what they say but rather how they act, and it can be very exhausting. Having a friend be super nice when you're alone with him and then turn into a completely different person in a group is heartbreaking to me.
I'm getting psychological help right now but it all feels like a load of shit, I am giving off sympthoms of a variety of things but they can't find a folder to place me in.
