How does your human eye observe the data ?

But seriously, what would you recommend.

I use Gephi to visualize Networks, and for other data I generally plot with pyplot (not to far from the pic).

The latter is rather exhausting, if you want a fast visualization. So maybe you know a better tool that has an easy GUI, but can be used on a code base as well.
