Time to change major, can't even get a basic physics question right.

cool blog

B

just use a simple example you dingus
1km at a speed of 1m/s should give 1000s
>>
>>7792057
kiloseconds

It's A. Fuck off with this bullshit. Dividing a kilometre by a metre gives you a scalar 1000. Division by per second is the same as multiplying. It's in 1000 s, therefore after dividing by a thousand it's just seconds.
>>
>>7792095
I know its a; but my home work said a is wrong. am salt.
>>
>>7792071
I believe you meant to type D.
>>
>>7792057

You don't have to give up, everyone gets these questions wrong.. they just get them wrong before the test. Don't worry OP, just study harder and halve your time jerking off about the fact that you're the next Richard Feynman
>>
>>7792057
anyone would get the question wrong if they didnt know how to do it

instead of quitting you should learn how to do it
>>
>>7792057
I selected E..
What's the right answer OP?
>>
A and D are both correct
>>
>>7792560
Hahahahahaha

It's shitty wording, but no you wouldn't divide by 1000 at any point. If it were (8 km)/(2m/s) you would get 4000s. You wouldn't then divide by 1000. The problem assumes you'd do the 8/2 first and get 4s and then need to multiply by 1000 from the resulting scalar.
>>
>>7792579
both lead to an answer where seconds are units? what's wrong?
>>
>>7792637
km/(m/s)=km s/m=1000s
>>
>>7792638
The units are still in seconds, are you stupid?
>>
Considering the question itself is retarded because it says dividing/multiplying by 1000 (no units), the correct answer would be D.

Km/(m/s) = (Km·s)/m = 1000m/1km · (Km·s)/m = 1000s.
>>
The wording of the answers is ambiguous. "If you multiply by 1000." Multiply what? The final answer? Multiply seconds by 1000 making it a kilosecond? 1st graders command language better than this.

Do you understand that 1 kilometer divided by 1 m/s is 1000 seconds? If so, you're fine.
>>
(1000*m / (m / s))
(1000 / (1 / s))
(1000 * s)
=>
((1000 * s) / 1000)
(s)
>>
>>7792637
No, the answer is kiloseconds, i.e.: seconds, if you multiply by 1000.

Back to school you failures.
>>
How many of you forgot about the basic stuff of the field you are studying?
>>
>>7792057
this question is fucking bogus, both A and D are correct
whoever wrote it is a retard
