Is it even possible to learn maths by yourself? Learn how to do exercises and tests with faculty-tier difficulty, all by myself?

How would I go about that?

Just open a textbook and read what's inside. That exactly what lectures are, reading from a textbook out loud. Sometimes lecturers add in their own stuff to make it more "understandable" but that really isn't necessary.

However, I do advise you to bring your brain when learning math, especially by yourself.

With open coursework on YouTube anything is possible senpai

are there any people who have actually done this?
>>

How do you think it got started in the first place?
You have to want to spend time with it. That's it.

Forgo to precise.

I was complete garbage at math, even got caught cheating at an exam.

Now I'm doing med studies, but I just really want to see if I'm actually able to be good at math and have good logic and reasoning skills, because I didn't put any effort at all back in Highschool.

I never go to lecture and learn everything from my book/script. Here are the scripts for Analysis first year (in German):

http://www.asc.tuwien.ac.at/funkana/skripten/ANA_I.pdf
http://www.asc.tuwien.ac.at/funkana/skripten/ANA_II.pdf

The book I used on top of that was Rudin - Principles of Mathematical Analysis.

I have. I self taught from arithmetic to calc III, linear algebra, diff. eqs, complex analysis and few other bits.

I'm not extraordinarily intelligent, I'd say maybe a bit above average for my degree and uni.

Books:
Quick Arithmetic
Practical Algebra

then some precalc book

now get to work instead of whining

Hat's auch gut geklappt notentechnisch?
Teilweise frage ich mich: Wozu in die Vorlesung gehen, wenn ein Selbststudium effizienter sein kann und das Verständnis eh mit der alleinigen Auseinandersetzung kommt.

Yes, I'm doing it now on Khan Acadamy
Nice to see peoples progress when they post their Screencaps of where they're up to
>sticky, faggot

Yes. Learning with textbooks is in fact much easier than learning with only lectures
