Do you have a favorite science communicator, if so who are they?
Mine is Cara Santa Maria
No, but I have a least favorite shitposter, and that is OP.

Bravo Sir or Madam, I don't start many posts, but when I do. I fail miserably.
>>7772779
Is that what we're calling them now?
>>7772807
People who communicate science, sure why not.
Neil D Tyson is doing some decent work trying to convince congress to spend some money for NASA projects.
>>7772779
Ricardo Derpins
Noah Chompers
Nelson DeGrass Tyrone
Steven Hawkins
Bill Nie
Sean Carroll does his part to communicate advanced scientific topics to people, even if he doesn't do it in the same way as BSM. Plus he's actually a scientist, unlike most "science communicators."
That asian girl Amy Shira Teitel who talks for NASA sometimes is cute, too. Not too interesting, though.
>>7772829
Most "science communicators" are not working as scientists, they have a full time job of making science fun to simpletons such as myself.
Podcasts, tv, radio, twitter, traveling, filming and writing. The day has only so many hours.
>>7772779
i'd let her teach me science
>>7772885
I'd teach her some science if you get what I mean senpai.
>>7772779
You just want to fuck her. You don't actually think she's good.
>All these pleb tier communicators
Do you even Kaku?
>>7773252
I wouldn't even fuck her. Her liberal views make her repugnant.
>>7773361
That's why I despise all pop "scientists" including Sagan.
In truth they care less about making science accessible to layman and more about politicising "science".

On a related note, no I don't.
>>7773252
She changed my opinions on GMO's. I never once faped to her pics, she is a fucking hot babe tho.
>>7773360
I like Kaku, his go to story is the one where he build the accelerator in his garage and fried all the power converters in the hood...should have used a breaker Michio. All that math, and you forget about pulling 2 many amps
In 10 years, we will hear that one arabian kid from Texas telling the one where he built a clock b4 getting into MIT
>>7772779
She's not that attractive. I'd have to see her in different clothing, and a better view of her hips / waist.
Eh. I am more apt to listen to attractive females presenting information though, if I'm not actively looking for something. For passive listening. Braincraft on youtube is kind of hot, though not in a dateable way.
>>7773251
That's kind of disturbing anon.
>>7774115
Google image search her, she has a podcast I follow, her laugh is adorkable

How do they politicize science? Only recent example I can think of maybe is Bill Nye saying the Paris attacks were indirectly caused by climate change.
>>7772779
Oh! I saw her at an ASBMB conference in 2012 I think. She talked about whether it was important for scientists to be social about their results. Paul Berg was there and he said he didn't want to be "twatting" his scientific results. Much keks were had

You Sir or Madam have bad taste
>>7776831
She has a fairly masculine facial structure. Shoulders as well.
>>7776837
Compared to yourself? How small can your shoulders be?
Lets get a pic of your shoulders, I want to see what your working with
>>7776846
You seem to think I mean muscle trophism, or how "broad" her shoulders are. I said "structure", not size. It's about how her collarbone, clavicle, etc come together. It just strikes me as somewhat masculine. Especially in the OP image.

> manfaced waifu
ur a closet homo bro.
>>7776853
I like her looks, she seems like a girl you can talk to for hours, Beauty in the eye of the beholder kind of deal
>>7776856
Meh, I'm not that beta enough to hide in a closet.
How feminine do you guys want
>>7776869
>Beauty in the eye of the beholder kind of deal
More or less. Beauty and appeal, whether emotional or strictly aesthetic, is as much about the whole as something that can broken down into discrete parts. In this case there's just not much of anything appealing.
It's important to see someone in motion as well. Hear them speak, etc. It's not really about some hazy masculine vs feminine dichotomy.
