So, I just sat on my balcony for a while and watched the nightsky because it's so really clear right now.

I noticed some groups of stars shaking really fast. It didn't seem completely chaotic but I guess I can't really talk of a pattern. It seemed like some even 'rotated'.

I can't imagine the earth spinning so uneven that I notice it by looking at the sky.

What phenomenon could this be? I think it's something from the Earth because the group of stars was pretty far away, judging by their light intensity. The thing that irritates me the most: They didn't shake all the same but offset. In case that helps: I sit in central Europe and looked east, a group of six stars wobbled the most. With some fantasy, they formed an arrow.

No /x/-tier discussions, pls.

It's our atmosphere moving around causing a lensing effect, like looking up through the bottom of a pool.

So basically, like when I look from underwater upwards, single vortexes can cause objects to diffuse?
In this case, why is it only the same group and not every star? Or at least some more or less regular these?
>>

All stars twinkle in the atmosphere. The reason why the Pleiades seems to twinkle more is because of how your brain interprets the image. The stars in the open cluster are very close together. They seem to move more because you have other nearby references to judge the twinkling against.

Seemed less like a twinkling to me since I know that effect and others do but I probably have to accept it as the answer. Thanks, guys!

There is one other possibility..... >The V404 Cygni black hole is continually fed by nearby stars slightly smaller than our sun. As these objects orbit each another, the star's gases are slowly siphoned in a steady stream. This gas forms a bright disk around the black hole before it gets sucked into the unknown. It is that disk of surrounding gas, not the black-hole itself, that can shine by erupting in x-ray and visible light.

This BH has been visible to the naked eye (just) since June 2015. Download a star map to your phone and check the location.
