If anybody knew this program, then there is something wrong with this equation. Any suggestions to how I'm going to create this graph?
>>
>>7768788
I don't know the program, but should'nt you remove the "y=" ?
>>
>>7768903
It's MathGV if you look at the title.
I knew that I'll remove the y, but that didn't mattered because the same results are expected.
The only equation that is acceptable is 3cos(4)x but the result of it is a diagonal line. What I need is a wavelength patttern.

>>7768903
Also that is the original equation, I just put there

Use Graphmatica or Desmos.

Idk man, I just downloaded it and tried doing y=3cos(4x) and it worked.
>>
>>7768993
That's how you do it? Thanks.
>>
>>7768993
How do you work on thetas?
>>
>>7768987
I need to try that. But the teacher told us to work using this program. What is the best graphing software anyways?
>>
>>7769025
Remove the y= part. I tried that after it said that there was incorrect formatting on "character 2", and since the label of the inputbox is "y=f(x)=.." I just typed in '3cos(4x)' by itself and it graphed it.

At this point I'm just being autistic with this shit and trying out different functions to see what works and what doesn't.

It definitely supports sin, cos, tan, ln, e^x, and sec.

I'm going to try this. GODDAMN I'll give you much thanks for helping oy.
I want to try other methods such as polar and 3D, but I'll just keep it simple as it is.
Pi worked, and when I put theta, it'll just leave a question mark. I tried replacing it with a 9, but it ended up a straight line. Suggestions?
>>
>>7769124
I've been trying to see how to input theta for the past few minutes but so far it'll only accept it as 'Theta' and it'll only recognise theta if it's doing a polar function. Everything else yielded an error.
>>
>>7769130
I see.

You can only use theta when graphing a polar function, either way its more convenient to just use x.

Yeah, I figured that, too.

You've really helped out buddy, now I can do it on my own. You owe me one.
