Where are all the low IQ people? Who are they? What do they do? How do they live?
>>7752144
they're shit posting on 4chan whilst sad NEET's respond in hopeful attempts to find meaning to their pathetic lifes
>>7752144
106 IQ(Checked it online tho) here. I don't want to live anymore. Are online tests dubious? Do I have any chance to succeed?
>>7752165
iq doesnt mean much when death is inevitable and our lifes are biological accidents
>>7752170
Fuck off, you edgy nihilist faggot.
>>7752177
>>7752144
They're safely contained in /pol/.
>>7752144
They are the scientists, doctors, engineers that work for society - the high iq ones are busy to shitpost about their iq on 4chan and waste time getting 2 - 3 degrees because they're too smart to make money or get a job.
>>7752205
Super High IQ scientis are the ones that do research and stuff. Average IQ ones are the ones who are lab/code monkeys. And low IQ scientist doesn´t exist.
>>7752205
There's literally a cutoff for hard sciences and math. If you get under a 600 on the SAT M (Mathematical IQ 115 approx) it is very difficult for you to do physics.
http://arxiv.org/pdf/1011.0663.pdf
>109 iq
PhD in physics
Suck my dingus
>>7752165
>tfw scored 156 online before even having my morning coffee
Yes, your IQ is lower than the tests online predict.
>>7752185
fuck off
>>7752568
What was your SAT score? If you read the study I showed you, you're literally at the cutoff, probably. You had a good GPA 3.3+ and an SAT score on the cutoff (550-600) I am going to assume
>>7752569
Your body functions (thinking included) are vastly superior in the morning when you just wake up compared to throughout the rest of the day. Coffee fucks you shit up and makes you lose focus so that all makes sense.
>>7752144
People with slightly below average to average IQ's aren't good at learning new things, but they are good at repeating what they do know. They make decent bureaucrats, administrators, shop keepers, farmers, and tradesmen. Granted, the principals, leaders, and foremen are always going to have higher IQ's than them.
>>7752572
I'm uk so I don't know how it translates but top grade SAT, average GCSEs, top 5% for A-levels, 1st class degree
>>7752185
This.
>>7752144
They are fucking your mom
>>7753285
top grade sat? What? Your sat score out of 1600 or 2400 and the date you took it is what I'm asking.
They're in Africa and Australia
>>7753695
Brits don't take the SAT moron.
>>7752570
>low IQ pleb detected.
Hey anon, I heard you're needed back in /pol/. There's an argument there where a guy needs to be proven wrong with your totally legit picture arguments.
>>7752565
Another retard who thinks SAT is an IQ test. When i raised my Sat 400 pounds by studying i suppose i raised my IQ 5-10 points, right?
>>7753769
*points
>>7753695
Stop with the autism. If we use the "Sat-IQ" correlation, Harvard average student must have an IQ of around. Guess what. Harvad real average IQ is 120. Are you dissapointed?. These virgin autism need to brag about their IQ and academic scores because they are fucking losers.
>>7753778
120 estimate was from 1970. It has since gotten higher. And no, IQ and SAT have a .7 correlation for verbal and .6 for mathematics. It is one of the single most accurate indicators of college success. The old, precentered SAT (pre 1994) was ACTUALLY an IQ test. Mensa accepted it. It had a .9 correlation with other IQ tests.
>>7753769
You got used to the test format or had a good day. If you read the study I posted, you would at least understand the argument behind the SAT M and physics threshold.
http://infoproc.blogspot.com/2012/02/test-preparation-and-sat-scores.html
Not to mention studying for the SAT has a minimal effect on scores on a large scale (5000 people). Improvements range from 8-25 points. More than studying, the fact that you aged (Intelligence Quotient was originally defined as mental age/chronological age) would influence your score. Every time you take the test you score a bit differently than your real IQ due to imperfection correlation. I scored a 2390, but my real ability is around 2300. If I took multiple tests, my score would go up and down around that value. I would get something like this. 2390, 2180, 2280, 2350, etc.
/b/ and /x/ are the most cancerous
IQ is a pretty bad predictor for success and even general intillectual capability. You can be a slow thinker and end up more innovative than quicker people. Anecdotal source is that I've tested high on IQ tests my whole life and am more or less worthless.
Why do high schoolers/undergrads have such an obsession with IQ numerology?
>>7754059
Because they don't get pussy or money and this is the only way they can validate their useless existence.
>>7752144
• go to nearest Wal*Mart
• observe and learn
>>7752144
I'm not trying to jerk off the ego of myself and everyone here, but they're usually not on 4chan. Most users of this site are slightly above average intelligence white males in the suburban US.
Notable exceptions are cesspools like /b/, /pol/, and /x/ because of their saturation of everyday people thanks to media exposure.
>>7754071
Tell me how your existence is useful
Try not to resort to circular logic
What do you think is the most viable way to explain iq test scores ( lets just use mensa as a guideline)
Would the nurture side ( access to education, socioeconomic status, or family values) effect these scores or would nature ( muh genetics) be a better explanation.
Its more of philosophical argument, but hey.
>>7754195
Never claimed it was, fag.
you guys should find some streotype kind of guys like rednecks or sandniggers you will be suprised that people like that actually exists
>>7754233
Your upper limit of IQ is genetic, but reaching that upper limit is environment. Works similar to height in that regard
>>7754233
I can't remember the study, but they looked at iq testing and controlled for race, parential income, and parential values (ie adoptive black baby with white parents). What they found was your race had the biggest success in determining your iq while the nurture side had some smaller but quantifiable impact.
>>7753914
What makes you think it has gotten higher?.
> Improvements range from 8-25 points
"On average, juniors repeating the SAT as seniors improved their combined critical reading, mathematics, and writing scores by approximately 40 points." from https://professionals.collegeboard.com/testing/sat-reasoning/scores/retake
Fail, you failed, autist virgin. btw, if a person does not have the basic knowledge the SAT needs, studying would make an impact in his scores.
>>7753914
What about test like MCAT and GRE subject. Can you raise your score by studying? by a fair amount?
>>7752144
I've heard rumors that they like to start threads like this one on 4chan,
>>7754421
Damage control.
>>7752144
They're on Reddit.
>take one IQ test where my IQ is 147
>take another where IQ is 106
What does this mean?
>>7754843
That the first test was a joke IQ test and the second one a serious one.
>>7754843
If it is the same IQ test it is impressive.
>>7752165
you can still do almost anything anyone else could if you work harder with that IQ
>out to dinner with gf and her friends
>boyfriend of another girl starts talking about what he does
>"I'm a mechanical engineer for XXX, I basically install the machinery that my company sends to the factor"
>he graduated with a degree in poly sci
>>7752144
I'm here.
I'm dumb, like really fucking dumb
>learned to read at like 8 years old
>can't into math at all
>don't even know my times tables
I'm fucking pathetic, I want to commit sudoku, I want to an hero and end it all
>>7755057
Being dumb is a bless. You cant realize it of course.
>>7755067
No it's not. I'm smart and I've leveraged it into a kickass life. Maybe you're just a special snowflake faggot who likes to think he's smart.
>>7755087
>Maybe you're just a special snowflake faggot who likes to think he's smart
Hahaha that sounds like a perfect projection of yourself.
>>7755087
>I'm smart and I've leveraged it into a kickass life
somebody got laid for the first time eh?, welcome to the group kid.
>>7755087
plenty of tards live kickass lives
