Hey 4chan, could you help me? For the past year or so I start to see quick, vivid, flashing images, Usually disturbing ones, when I'm tired. I have no kind of medical disorder I know about. These pictures occur whenever I am tired, during the very short time in which I blink. Abouf 5-7 images per blink. Anyone have a fix? Please help
epilepsy?
I Don't have any medical disorder, and I don't have epilepsy.

"Hey 4chan, could you help me? I clearly have a medical disorder and actually am just dumb as shit lol"
Way to be polite, maybe I have nothing clinically diagnosed for me from the doctor. No need to insult me. Also I'm trying to figure out what is said mental disorder
And I'd also like to know why it's happening (Directed to previous person, I'm mobile)
As inconvenient as it is, I doubt anywhere here would be able to help as much as a physician. Contact your GP for a referral.

Could be serious, consult an eye doctor.

No
It's not epilepsy
Op needs to describe this flashing part more. As in you quickly see a disturbing picture or there's an actual flash effect to the images?

>It's not uncommon to see flashes of images, faces, scenes, etc when tired. Nor is it uncommon to hear other noises morph into something else, or voices. A lot of people see geometrical patterns when they become fatigued.
Seconded, I fairly frequently have auditory hallucinations when I'm tired. It's not a big deal.

You have this. I know because I have it too. Completely normal. Many people have it. Cure: don't let it worry you. It is harmless. Try going to bed not totally fatigued. That always helps me. I rarely get it when I am emotionally satiated and unstressed.

I can sit down and close my eyes and have hypnagogic hallucinations when like 2 or 3 minutes.
