Is science's position on deja vu pretty much that it must just be fake memory recollection? What other ideas are out there that are possible in your opinion?
I heard an idea once that during sleep, neurons can fire so fast that they might take and transmit bits of information from the future.

Shut up.
How I understand it u have 2 (for a lack of a better term) things that intemperate what u see match it up and send it on to ur brain and deja vu occurs when the first censer doesn't wait to much up info with the second so the same info gets sent to your brain slightly apart

Its just a memory going into medium term storage instead of short term storage so you think your remembering it as you wright the memory,

Don't think it ever got past (or maybe even to) the writing stage.

>just be fake memory recollection
You can say that about anything

>bits of information from the future

nah, its just some memory glitch
you never "remember" those things before they actually happen, the direction of the causality arrow is still forwards

>so fast they might transmit bits of information from the future
bait
