Nigga, pls. There were a few shitty episodes, but by and large it was on par with TOS and TNG, and waaaaaaayyyyyyyyyy above DS9.

Both are fruit
Both come from trees
Both have seeds
Both have skin

It's pretty easy to compare apples and oranges

Can't tell if you're deliberately misunderstanding the expression to make a joke, or actually dumb.

I'm the same way, but it's not strictly visual. I don't like extrapolating what "it" is really "doing", from an equation. I absolutely fucking hate learning in a mathematics dominated way. People who think this way completely neglect to mention what any given element is actually doing, what it "is", and what their interaction actually is.

Which is why I barely udnerstand AC circuit design and decided to drop it and focus on physics. At least that's a motivation to learn the math, which up until now I've had to fight with myself over if it's just a form of mental pollution. Feel like learning it is going to harm me in some way.

"What is the proper way to compare apples and oranges?" was a uchicago essay prompt a year or two ago. Their twisting some clearly trivial matter with obvious objective answers a la >>7733113 into some postmodernist "show us how pseudointellectually creative u are u gaiz xD" was reflected in the other questions too. It convinced me not to apply to that shithole after all

Voyager had the objectively best character with the best development.

Pic related.
>>
>>7735100
Ok, I'll totally grant you that one, The Doc is one of the best characters in the trek universe.

Personally, I found the political intrigue of DS9 (though it took a while for the series to get there) more engaging than Voyager's weekly "Some space asshole makes life difficult for everyone" format.

Also, Voyager's technobabble. Jesus fucking Christ the technobabble. The sheer magnitude of techno-babble in Voyager went above and beyond anything ever seen in Trek.
