Physics question
If something is extremely large, like galaxy sized, would it's speed naturally increase with its size relative to normal moment such as walking or throwing a punch? Or would it take a million years to do anything?

A push or pull will move at the speed of sound of that material. If you had a steel rod 2ly on length the push will still only move at the speed of sound in steel (5000m/s ish) It is just a shockwaves that moves the molecules in front of it
