Does the earth lose thermal energy eccelerating it's self through the spaces?

It's not accelerating itself. Its movement, whether it has an acceleration or constant velocity (I think latter but I am not an expert on the movements of celestial bodies), is caused by the Sun's gravity.

Is it possible to harness the earth's rotation to generate free energy?
>>
>>7714946
Ok but I mean if the wasn't excel keratin its self it would fall into a singularity right?
>>
>>7714950
Nah
>>
>>7714941
No. It heats up a negligeable amount from scraping against molecules in space due to friction.

Just ignore this thread. I bet OP came from /b/ or /r9k/ to find some keks

Why not? A dyson structure will be better?

Stop typing on your phone you mong

It wouldn't be free energy because you'd be trading the Earth's spin for the energy. The moon is currently doing this through tidal forces, and as a result, the Earth's spin is slowly decreasing (which is why we periodically add leap seconds). As a result, the moon is falling further and further away from Earth each year. Eventually, an equilibrium will be met and the Earth and Moon will be tidally locked to each other, with the same side of the Earth always facing the moon. At this point, the moon will stop stealing rotational energy from the Earth and will no longer drift further away
