Physics, Astronomy, Philosophy, and Math all require abstract reasoning.

Does physics really require abstract reasoning?
>>
>>7684486
Yes, it relies entirely on math.
>>
>>7684489
my knowledge of physics is of high school level but the concepts seemed natural back then.

You can't get a real understanding of physics without understanding the math.

Non-AP high school physics is conceptual physics which is basically physics stripped of its math.

Why is philosophy second place despite being lower than maths?
>>
>>7684521
Better verbal scores.
>>
>>7684524
Yeah but math has better quantitative scores, so why did they arbitrarily decide which section of the SAT would make you higher on the list?

your insecurity and your americannes.

It doesn't neccessarily represent people who had done their undergrad work in the majors shown in the graph, but only the majors people are choosing to do in grad school. So a math student could have applied to grad school in physics for example. Or vice verse
