The author of Dark Matter and Dinosaurs has a sister (who, oddly enough, is a professor of Theoretical Computer Science at Georgia Tech.) and she's sexy.

aps.org article is good. dark matter disk is dubious, periodic comet cluster is more probable.
>>
>>7659804
Its basically the lost planet NASA believes lies in the Oord cloud. Every time there is an extinction on Earth, it has to do with the gravitation disturbance the illusive planet brings. It might not be dark matter but just that missing planet that was shot out of orbit by Jupiter I believe. If I'm correct, that planet should be closing in on Earth within a few centuries or less.

"The exact number is uncertain, given that the data that we have is limited, but our calculations suggest that there are at least two planets, and probably more, within the confines of our solar system.." Monthly Notices of the Royal Astronomical Society Letters

Pic data are semi-factual, period of the companion is about 28 million years, currently closing in. Calculated period is longer because of unknown gravitational interaction with Oort cloud objects.

The probe we have in the Oort cloud is going to find something. My guess this is why ayys can't find us because of the cloud. They most likely see the planets in those clouds. Also do you have the link for that quote?

GT sucks. Nobody outside of Atlanta cares about GT. It's literally a trade school that feeds into retarded companies like Coca-Cola rather than Silicon Valley.

Also 0 real Nobel prize winners. While Berkeley has a fuckton
>>
>>7661415
Only america teaches creationism in their schools
>>
>>7661868
>retarded companies
>No nobel winners
A lot of top schools don't have none either. Most of the nobel winners work in the Ivy's. What do they have is other top award winners such as field and engineering equivalent.
>>
>>7661872
Unlike most European countries, America has laws enforcing the separation of church and state. The only places that teach creationism are tiny towns in the middle of nowhere that the government doesn't bother with.
>>
>>7662086
Fields medals? GT? pffttt

Look at it this way. Even fucking Purdue has 11 affiliations for science nobels. GT only has 1, and that's for some dude who did his work at UCB.

GT is LITERALLY the definition of a trade school. That's why it can't stand in the ranks of Caltech, MIT, Berkeley and real good schools. GT is just engineering and can't into science - literally just like all the /sci/ memes about engineers.
>>
>>7662253
Georgia Tech puts out better folks than whatever shitty university you went to.
>>
>>7660285
No, that's Lisa Randall. She's at Harvard. Her sister is the one at Georgia Tech.

On the other hand, given you failed to understand that the distinction won't make much of a difference to you.
>>
>>7662261
My university isn't even good, but it has 30 Nobel Prize affiliations, none of which are in muh peace.

GT puts out wage slaves and nothing more hahahahaha, it cracks me up everytime GT fags try to defend their crappy alma mater. Show me the Nobel Prizes and startups - there is literally jack shit. The reason why GT is so fucking miserable is that people go there for the ranking and realize that it's just a meme.

My university is shit, but GT is literally worse than shit.

I posted it on gif a few months ago. I think I found it on an imgur, but I have no idea who it is. I don't think there's anything else of hers floating around, as this was probably a private pic sent to a boyfriend or something.

Unless somebody knows her in person, you probably won't find sauce.
>>
>>7660253
The 1 and anti-1 would annihilate leaving 1=3, no?
>>
>>7665049
>>7665028
Yup.

I had the choice of attending either of those places and was considering GT until I met a bunch of people there who said that GT is really overrated and that they got suckered by the ranking into attending.

They found out they should have just stayed in state rather than head south into Atlantastan after realizing that GT doesn't offer any significant advantage compared to, say, Alabama.

In fact GT makes shit even worse for them by screwing up their GPA and shit. Trade school shouldn't be difficult, yet GT insists on trying to be something it really isn't.
>>
>>7666475
you made the right choice by far, there are some really amazing faculty at UIUC
