In accordance with real economics (any case) analyze the following statement: “Consumers will not start spending again, until laborers go back to work and producers begin making a profit”
Can you help me /sci/ ?

The statement suggests just why the world is in serious financial trouble.

There are 3 parts here
1: Consumers will not start spending again, until
2: laborers go back to work and
3: producers begin making a profit

Considering labourers are at work and that much is outsourced or automated, part 2 is just meaningless.

Part 3 is a logical short circus. You might as well reduce this to “Consumers will not start spending again, until Consumers start spending again".

Brilliant, isn't it?

. o O (and "real economics"??? )

aren't consumers and labourers the same entity?

you are leaving out the part about consumers not having any $$ to spend because the gubbmit takes too much in taxes

here is a better statement

consumers will not start spending again until gubbmit stops taxing their hard work to pay for lazy welfare bums, illegal immigrants getting free health care, criminals rotting in jail instead of being terminated and so on

There's a lot of overlap, but they represent different functions. If you're earning a lot of money you aren't necessarily spending that money right away. Conversely you can spend more money than you are earning by digging into your savings or borrowing.

It's false
The middle class are the spenders
Labouring is slowly being tapered out as machinery kicks in
Producers are always in the middle of fucking nowhere and don't need a freakin mercedes to blow the fields or make out cloths

It would honestly collapse the current economic system.
That's how fucking bad the system is.
It shits all over the people who deserve it the most.

Not that I'm complaining all that heavily, cheap housing, goods, and food is ey ok

The ayyy lmao's are probably frowning at us about that though

I'd say the statement is false. All laborers are consumers but not all consumers are laborers, ergo consumers will still consume regardless if the laborers are working or not and will still consume even if there is no profit made by the producers. Given that there is overlap from the laborers as consumers, their role is nihil, and with the producers it would just depend if they choose to stay in their situation and for how long. The only thing that won't go away and won't stop is the consumer.

This is why women shouldn't be allowed in the military. They can't even take their job seriously for 5 fucking seconds.

thats almost certainly a staged demonstration from a country where japanese 'kawaii' stuff is popular. maybe even japan.

maybe 'laborers go back to work' is talking about potential laborers that have been laid off
