I used to think he was a massive tool, but as I've progressed with my degree I realize he knows exactly what he's talking about and I agree with him on a lot of stuff.
But the thing is, he basically says "These are the facts, if you don't accept them you're an idiot". He's right about the facts but he's so abrasive that it can make people ignore the science and focus on his attitude. I prefer an approach that encourages people to learn, not just tell them they're wrong.
