My favorite anime is Initial D
This is the main character, Takumi Fujiwara

Its all about street racing in the Gunma district of Japan. Takumi drives a car like this one: a Toyota Trueno AE86, or as they call it in the show, 'hachi roku' or 'the eight-six'. It is a front engined, rear wheel drive vehicle with a 1.6L DOHC Supercharged engine. The horsepower of the car is considerably feeble compared to Takumi's competitors, yet his amazingly superior driving skill more than compensates for this.
I don't want a sticky, I just thought I'd put it out there considering the level of anime interest on this board.
Initial D is an awesome show, and has taught me very much about cars and driving. I highly recommend watching it.
