ive been drinking tea my whole life (as a matter of fact, i am drinking one right now), but only now am I starting to realize that clear hot water is clearly superior.
think about it: to make a proper, aids-free tea, you need to know your shit, and even though my kettle has a variable temperature setting, i often just forget to pick the correct temperature. (this makes tea the ultimate ableist beverage tbh imho)
with plain water you can make it as hot as you want it without any nasty sludge (lemon is good, but it's also cheating), AND you dont have to brush your teeth afterwards, if you like to drink it in bed (heres where coffee gets rekt as well)
also, water is wetter and prettier aand go drinkit for fugs sake
