tbh if it's not encrypted you should be able to just boot from a linux live usb and get whatever files you want off it, without needing hte password

Burn a Linux live CD, the computer runs off the liveCD instead of the OS.
Mount the hard drive and enjoy full access to all the files

Personally I recommend justin bieber Linux so you can listen to your favorite jams while you hack away
