I'm coming to remind you that water is the only good drink. I don't tolerate unhealthy habits among the people I work so hard to keep alive and well, so the least you can do is drop the soda and stay hydrated and healthy through reasonable means. I'm not asking you to go outside and run a marathon, now. I'm not asking you anything, really.
I'm telling you.
No more coffee. No more kool aid. And definitely, no more soda.
Water is the best way to lose easy weight, the best way to feel clean, alert, responsive. Now me, I'm a guy who doesn't do a lot of 'exercise', it's for the birds. I get my calories burnt from my line of work, if you know what I mean. I don't diet, I don't drink health smoothies. But staying in decent shape is important, you need to be a guard to those around you, reliable and ready for when bad things happen.

It has far too much sugar, it stains your teeth, and it tastes too directly sweet. There's no subtlety, no aftertaste, no secondary flavor or clean crisp feel when you drink it. It is a child's drink, and no man should consume it.
