NEET edition.
Hello once again and welcome to another Sunday /cara/ thread, always here if you wanna come hang out, discuss cara, f1, anything else on your mind.
how have you been? would like to know.
FAQ
>who is she and what does she do? i would google her but i doubt it would be worth the effort.
Cara Delevingne is primarily occupied with being the #1 qtpie waifu and stealing hearts of men and women. Other her hobbies include changing the world of fashion forever and being a pretty good actress.
>what makes Cara the #1 qtpie waifu?
there is the obvious unprecedented beauty and cuteness, and then there is the adorable and lovely personality http://imgur.com/a/2qH90
>what about the rumors that she's a coalburner?
There is currently no evidence supporting the claim that she ever engaged in sex with any other black person than Jourdan Dunn.
>What the fuck is wrong with her eyebrows?
Literally nothing, they're gorgeous.
>How do I pronounce her name?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eOCO51-ApLE
>Can I post other waifus on /cara/?
The waifus that are /cara/-approved are: Kaya Scodelario, Mirukawa, Kristen Stewart and Barbara Palvin. We always encourage Caraposting instead of other-approved-waifu-posting.
That race, though...

disappointed in rosberg... looked intentional to me
hello carabros!
i've been listening to this radio station for the past week... was it posted in the last thread or did i find it somewhere else? i can't remember
http://driveradio.be
>>16814667
evening! how are ya now?
>>16814674
>looked intentional to me
from the onboard footage, it looked like no grip and brake by wire failure.
his tyres were really worn out by the end of that, lucky it was the last lap or he would have pulled into pit with a DNF.
>>16814678
i don't recognize that but i'm tuning in now
>>16814685
>i'm tuning in now
ok it's just started playing something weird, it's normally the kind of synthwave we are used to (timecop1983, kavinsky etc)

blues brothers are classic! but yeah, just started!
have i told you about tesla boy radio show? it's a weekly podcast mixed by anton, lead singer of the band.
>>16814699
dammit, was just about to post that
>>16814700

you have not!
i will be checking that out for sure

always really decent.
>sorry :3
how could i be mad at you <3
what have you all been up to anyway?
>>16814713
>have you all been up to anyway?
i wish i had interesting answers for this question, but for now all i do is work, eat and sleep. most exciting thing this week was cleaning the dust off my graphics card
what about you?
>>16814719
>most exciting thing this week was cleaning the dust off my graphics card
>what about you?
almost the same thing hahahah
it would've been more exciting if my graphics card didn't have one of those awful inverted fans but it's all good.
overwatch combined with the temperature was starting to fry that thing, decided that hitting 83°C was a bit too much for me so i cleaned the entire rig.
apart from that, we had our last week of class, so that was a bit emotional. now i have nothing to do but to update my CV/write applications and play pretend racecars.
not that i really mind, i'm naturally a bit more introverted so it's nice to have that again after almost a year.
>>16814731
congrats on finishing school. what kind of jobs are you looking for?
hope you find something good. the working world is really awful if you don't enjoy your work. i miss summer breaks so much.
>sexy beautiful women
CARA
Good to see the thread was not early, I would have missed so much.
>>16814743
hello CARA bro, good weekend?
>>16814735
>congrats on finishing school. what kind of jobs are you looking for?
mostly anything involving IT on 2nd level support as well as network technician, and IBM i Systems if i get lucky and that field hires ever.
i've got a lot of good arguments to get my foot in the door now, so it should be interesting at the least.
>hope you find something good. the working world is really awful if you don't enjoy your work.
yeah, i understand needing a good working ethic and needing to support yourself and maybe a family later, but truth be told the working world terrifies me.
just something i need to do and get through, i suppose
>>16814739
nothing sexier than this
Have a nice week everyone!
>>16814757
you too! off so soon?

Hello Carafriend
Meh, I visited a city today and it was not so great.
Might feel better if I nail my phone interview of tomorrow morning.
And you ?
>>16814749
>2nd level support
heh. good plan, avoiding the absolute plebs who can't work the right-click button
>the working world terrifies me
why is that? my problem with it is just that it drains your soul, it's depressing.
if you're worried about failing, i would say you can forget about those worries. i was amazed when i started working how many people out there have no real idea what they are doing, and are often incompetent at their jobs. but they still manage to make a living for themselves. so i'm sure you will be fine, you're a smart guy.
>>16814764
>a city
man, don't overload us with details.
>was not so great.
what happened?
>>16814765
>heh. good plan, avoiding the absolute plebs who can't work the right-click button
i understand why people do that, but i didn't pay for classes to sit in 1st level support. that's simply selling myself short and mind-numbingly shitty work
>why is that? my problem with it is just that it drains your soul, it's depressing.
it's not about failing, it's about that soul-draining effect and the fact that this country needs some pension reform really badly, to the point where i might actually work myself to death because i haven't had much experience.
basically my entire past is filled with failure on some personal and academic level so it doesn't worry me. i just experience it, and if it doesn't work then i move on.
>i was amazed when i started working how many people out there have no real idea what they are doing
most "adults" have no idea what they're doing in the world, that's something i started to realize when i entered my 20s too. everyone's kinda just winging it.
Y'all excited to see her in Suicide Squad?
>>16814788
sort of! i usually don't watch any sort of superhero stuff but i think it might be worth it just for that. not to mention, it IS a little bit different than your average marvel/dc movie..
>>16814788
i had never heard of suicide squad before, so not 'excited' exactly, but i'll watch it because cara is in it
>>16814761
No, I just mostly lurk
>>16814788
Very. Me and my friends may or may not be cosplaying to it...
>>16814713
about halfway through one of the podcasts now and it is absolutely fantastic. gonna take me a while to get through all those episodes.
>>16814781
>this country needs some pension reform
so much could happen in the next 50 years, we have no idea. the progression of technology is explosive, we could find ourselves in a post-scarcity/basic income society. anyway i think it's an appropriate time to bring back this image from old /cara/.
>>16814761
c u t e
fucking hell almost forgot
>>16814804
well, thank you anyway!
>about halfway through one of the podcasts now and it is absolutely fantastic. gonna take me a while to get through all those episodes.
they're fantastic background music for just about anything, i look forward to every friday a little bit more because of this.
>so much could happen in the next 50 years, we have no idea.
yeah, you're right. that explosion in technology is also partly why i stuck with this field of work. i'm already lucky enough that it interests me so much.
a friend of mine is a certified network admin, he recently switched all his classes to automotive engineering stuff because he simply didn't feel anything else anymore. i admire that.
either way one thing is true: we're all gonna make it.
>>16814812
very very cute
>>16814819

>>16814768
I visited Padua, there is not so much things to see, so I pretty much spent as much times doing things in the city and in the transports. A lot of "palazzo" and churches that are not impressive. Except a big one with the body of Saint Anthony in it, but you can't take pictures.
Treviso is better.
aww yeah, just checked my bets for the race. pretty good weekend.
>>16814845
did you post a silly bet in /f1/ that you lost for some reason? or was that someone else
>>16814845
nice one! i'm tempted to start doing this too.
>>16814840
>Treviso is better.
huh, i flew there to get to Venice, but did not actually see Treviso city. is it worth visiting independently?
>>16814849
lel, yes that was me. i contacted betfair support and they corrected it.
>>16814849
>>16814855
Not really, as Treviso is a little Venice.
But since saying Venice is better than Padua is obvious, i took Treviso as an exemple.
The advantage of Treviso can be that there is fewer people, which gives a better atmosphere.
Venice was very annoying with the whole tourist things, tourists' boats honking constantly for example. Also the fucking smell of the water.
>>16814863
i fucking love you
by the way, did i miss anything major in the first half of today's race? i got up late tuned in a bit late.
saw jolyon did well so that's nice, maybe he won't get shafted like kyvat after all
>>16814874
>the fucking smell of the water
faint memories from the last time i was in venice.. good lord
>>16814874
>Venice was very annoying with the whole tourist things, tourists' boats honking constantly for example. Also the fucking smell of the water.
i hear this a lot from other people. i think i got lucky because when i went, it was almost empty and i have only good memories, it was really nice.
>>16814878
>i miss anything major
nah, no major incidents. hulkenberg lost a lot of places quickly though for no particular reason, i think he will start to lose his status as 'underrated possible future champion'.
all this talk is making me miss stockholm a little bit, i loved the old town there ;_;
>>16814883
>hulkenberg lost a lot of places quickly though for no particular reason, i think he will start to lose his status as 'underrated possible future champion'.
do people refer to him like that a lot? from what i've seen he's just okay.
i think verstappen is gonna rule someday very soon. another podium on a track like this is fantastic. i also loved that red bull put lederhosen on their F1 suits for this race, since they're an austrian company. gotta represent!
>>16814883
Do you remember when did you went ?
As someone that could go any day, i did the stupid thing of going on a week-end.
For Padua i only went because my flatmates proposed me to go. I planned to go if I was in Venice. Too bad i missed a workaway opportunity there because of 5 minutes.
>>16814890
>do people refer to him like that a lot?
i don't know if you watch sky, but martin brundle was hyping him a lot the last few years
>i think verstappen is gonna rule someday very soon
agreed, possibly even next year if the new regulations are good for red bull. a ricciardo-verstappen title fight would be awesome.
>>16814891
>Do you remember when did you went ?
i don't remember the day of the week, but it was around christmas/new year, so i assume most people had other plans
>>16814895
>i don't know if you watch sky, but martin brundle was hyping him a lot the last few years
i think that's what my live stream is set on, yeah. i only ever tune in for the races though, never for the qualifying.
>agreed, possibly even next year if the new regulations are good for red bull. a ricciardo-verstappen title fight would be awesome.
definitely. so young and already such a genius driver.. makes me reconsider my career choices :D
wonder what it would take to get into racing in general. probably a lot of karting or kicking ass at local trackdays.
>>16814905
>makes me reconsider my career choices
heh. being a racing driver is my dream but the majority of people who attempt it can't make a career from it. to enter at your age, F1 is obviously impossible.
there are plenty of lower series where if you have enough money, you can enter your own car and enter yourself as a driver.
if you just want to get hired as a driver for someone else's team, then yeah you have to demonstrate some extreme skill in karting national championships and find some companies who will be willing to sponsor you (then you find a team in a higher series and tell them how much sponsorship money you can bring).
>>16814913
>to enter at your age, F1 is obviously impossible.
yeah, true. sad days. i wonder if/when we'll see another great austrian driver. we have a pretty talented kid in one of the lower leagues so maybe not too long now.
i've always been most interested in touring cars, but the golden days for that are long gone. still love it either way.
i also saw that nissan are doing some sort of program with gran turismo, trying to find young talents.
maybe i should get a PS4... been thinking about it anyway.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xCS7CBcHxtA
speaking of which, i actually got to check out the previous season's red bull and lotus cars up close and personal a few months ago. that lotus is fucking amazing from a few centimeters away..
also saw lots of LMP, GT3 and indycars.
>>16814937
>nissan are doing some sort of program with gran turismo, trying to find young talents
interesting... i remember there was a tv show recently where they got one of the best sim racers in the world and put him in an open-wheel racer, and if i remember correctly he didn't do very well. suggesting that gaming skills don't necessarily transfer to real racing. but nissan probably know more than me.
>>16814940
where was it? i've seen a few different cars at the goodwood festival and various showrooms in london, i always end up staring at them for ages.
time for pizza + match
>>16814942
have fun. i'm tempted to get into football just so i have something else to bet on between F1 races
shit sorry bros i'm so busy this week
>>16814941
>i remember there was a tv show recently where they got one of the best sim racers in the world and put him in an open-wheel racer, and if i remember correctly he didn't do very well.
actually, if you're familiar with Jann Mardenborough, he did that program and recently won the japanese formula 3 cup.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GT_Academy
>where was it?
Vienna Motorsport Show in February at a big mall near me. had a lot of interesting / famous people including the kid i talked about, Chris Höher.
other than that, there were people like Christian Klien, Alexander & Franz Wurz, Andreas Aigner and Franz Wöss. pretty big deal, but when i went to the mall i didn't even know that was going on. i was just there to buy some protein, so that was probably the best surprise ever for me.
have a group 5 BMW.
>>16814957
>recently won the japanese formula 3 cup
my bad, he won gt300 and got second in f3.
>>16814951
that's alright! hope you'll get to chill soon. have a nice week <3
>>16814957
that's cool. seems strange to me that they would do something like that in a mall but i guess you would guarantee a lot of visitors that way.
>>16814977
>my bad, he won gt300 and got second in f3.
looks like the F3 season is still going. a field of japanese drivers with one black british guy in there, would be funny if he won.
>>16814984
>seems strange to me that they would do something like that in a mall
yeah, i thought the same thing, but it was actually a great place for it. they had cars on both floors and a big stage area where you could talk to all the big animals.
>a field of japanese drivers with one black british guy in there, would be funny if he won.
the fact that he's making waves like this in super gt is already insane. have you ever watched those things?

Hey /cara/bros! Hope your week was good.

It was pretty good, I'm well. I get next week off, I don't know what I'll do! Still be nice to have a break from work.
Might try and watch the new Top Gear episodes, I haven't seen it yet. I hear it is pretty bad but maybe will hold me over until the Grand Tour comes out.

Yes. She's crazy, but I've got to admit that she's overwhelmingly cute

always is, for sure. glad to hear you're well.
>Might try and watch the new Top Gear episodes, I haven't seen it yet. I hear it is pretty bad but maybe will hold me over until the Grand Tour comes out.
yeah, i heard they're in a lot of trouble. chris evans being a wreck, someone else saying they'll leave if evans doesn't get fired, etc.
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3631727/Top-Gear-host-Chris-Evans-hits-skids-spotted-drinking-street-just-days-loses-audience-episode-two.html
feels a bit sadistic for me to watch that go on, not to mention that i probably wouldn't like it. that network made a big mistake when they let clarkson go, but maybe it's for the better anyway. i heard the three now have a lot more creative control of the show to air on amazon prime.
>>16815101
yeah, we're a pretty small group but as close-knit as you'll see on 4chan.
>>16815114

>>16815117
Great! I think you'll find it extremely comfy.
>>16815120
Oh shit, what a mess. Well, if it's too bad I'll turn it off. Hopefully they can make something of it. I have high expectations for Grand Tour but also good to have multiple shows.
>>16815125
I haven't been on /b/ for a while. 4chan is a mix, there are some nice nooks on the slower boards. The more you explore the more you'll find stuff you like.
I gotta run! I hope you all have a great week and happy 4th to any Americans.
Leaving posting one of my favorites.
>>16815134
>I have high expectations for Grand Tour but also good to have multiple shows.
so do i, but the three of them can't really disappoint in my book.
they've got so much experience now as well that amazon will do the smart thing and follow the old format as best as clarkson, hammond and may let them, because they're mostly the ones in charge now.
more shows are always good, but killing a legacy like top gear does leave a bit of a sour taste in my mouth.
