I usually just put it on high quality mode, make sure the WebMs are 3MB max and enable 2-pass encoding. I often make the resolution 1280x-1, while making it lower depending on the resolution of the original video. Sometimes I upscale it a bit if the quality is good enough.
Usually I experiment when it comes to the length of the WebMs. Make it too long and the quality can come out pretty bad.
