Yeah, Dahmer is definitely a solid choice. I read My Friend Dahmer last summer, and did some reading on him afterwards. All in all, a whole series of unfortunate people and events.

These guys were just severely mentally ill, it's not really robot at all, most of us aren't mentally ill beyond being a bit unhappy or anxious.
Very few serial killers are like robots at all, seeing as many use their charisma to lure victims to them, or have consensual sex with their victims before they kill them.

Berkowitz is classified as a visionary killer, as in he claimed to kill because of voices instructing him to do so. He was also known for being difficult and a bully as a child, so not really robotic.
