Well.... 9/11 happened more towards the end of 2001, so rounding up it's 2002.
It's now a bit more than halfway through 2016. Easily 13-14 years if you're counting months.
Around that time is when kids start losing their virginities. By 2018 that number will have multiplied many times over.
