I want to start being a normie. But I can't until I quit this stinking piece of shit.

The new expansion is tempting me already. I hate myself. But I really am the closest to really quitting than I have ever been.

HELP. ME.

Guess you could say that, You are not prepared :))

I was in the same place with League.

It's going to be tough. If you're really serious, you can't kid yourself about how hard it will be.

Don't rely on willpower, it will fail. Help yourself by making it impossible to go back to even if your willpower gives out and you want to.

Sell your account. Maybe even get rid of your computer and buy a normie-tier, craptastic netbook thing that cannot run it.

A key thing is to not spend time avoiding it, but rather spend the time you used to sacrifice to it on fulfilling things that promote taking care of yourself or forming connections with others.

If you stop playing WoW to just aimlessly browse or stare at a wall, you will eventually fail and go right back. You've got to build a life you want to live in instead of one you need to escape from.

Quitting won't magically solve all the problems in your life, but it will give you valuable time to work on solving them.

Use it.

Similar to what the other anon said.
>uninstall the game
>stop your sub
>remove anything wow related from your computer
>don't watch any wow vids
>don't go to twitch
That's how I've quit many games. Good luck anon.

you're like 7 years late for that one

>not THE normie game

Don't blame a game for your problems. Even if you quit you'll still be the same person you are now, you'll just find something to replace WoW (and it won't be socialising).

You don't have to quit to be a normie, its about balance. I know plenty of people who play WoW that could be considered normies. You need to change a lot more about yourself than quitting a game.

Not op, but if he thinks it's a problem, why not quit?

Obviously it won't instantly make him a normie, but if he's not good at finding a balance or self moderating it could help

I'm really shit at balancing certain games but there are others I can play a couple hours of and then stop
