>Severe Thunderstorm Warning
Sounds comfy as fuck. We get that shit all the time here in Texas.
Nothing makes me sleep better than a crazy ass thunderstorm.

>Thunder and snow

I can see the lightning. Pretty spooky.
>>30005190
>tfw no thunderstorms
My shower has a really nice window that I like to open when I shower and enjoy the breeze and smell of fresh air.
I can only imagine how nice it will be showering while it's raining, with the window open
>tfw you will never be struck by lightning and killed instantly
>>30005266
You are incredibly stupid. What a poor attempt at trying to be patronizing.
He had to be able to read your post to respond to it in the first place.
>driving somewhere
>radio station plays one of my all time favorite songs
>fairly obscure, haven't heard it on the radio in about two years
>ninety seconds in it gets cut off by SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING robot
>by the time it's done there's some shitty hair metal ballad playing
>storm isn't even half as powerful as they predicted
>misses my town by fifty miles
>Sandstorm warning

Meteorology student here.
Just stay away from windows and hope it doesn't knock out power or Internet.
>tornado warning
>>30005757
That's literally the worst sound of all time.
It's just fucking terrifying.
>>30005757
As a kid this was the most terrifying thing ever. It still sort of haunts me
>Fast thunderstorm that appears during a sunny day
>Comfy rain and thunder for like an hour
>leaves near sunset and all the clouds are in the just right position to look gorgeous as fuck
>>30005700
dubs of pain, brother
I know that feel
I also think there should be a word for that specific feeling, because I believe that is legitimately a specific feeling in and of itself.
>>30005190
>a tornado will never come and kill you in your sleep
>>30005926
Is it the same feel as when you tune to a station to hear the last five seconds of a song you love followed by some bullshit?
>>30005231
The best part of the thunderstorm is when its rolling in. You see a massive wall of cloud coming in with the low grumble of thunder and lightning. You feel the cool breeze blowing it your way with the smell of distant rain. You can literally feel static electricity in the air, its so wonderful
>>30006003
or when a good song comes on at the end of a trip in someone else's car, and they turn off the car without stopping to enjoy it
>>30005914
>tfw this happens and you go out into the woods right after the storm and go to the huge lake/swamp and watch that orange sherbet sunset all by yourself
I shed a couple tears but I'm not ashamed
>>30006056
It's important to do this because the last ten seconds of a car ride is only time a good song ever comes on.
>>30005692
Someone seems bothered!
>Hail warning
