No it's just called gate, it's a little haram-y, but it;s alright. It is about a gate to a medieval fantasy world opening up in japan. This random NEET accidently saves a life and does something heroic at ground zero (I guess he was just a secret badass reall), and he saves the day and becomes an officer in the military tasked with dealing with the gate (and exploitation of it for natural resources, wew postmodernism/humanlifeworthlessthanoil/etc.).

What anime are you robots watching? I'm surprised at how good Bakemonogatari is. I went in expecting harem shit but the visual direction is really stylish and unique. Each character is lovable, but they're played off by some sort of flaw that stops them from just being wish fulfillment wankery.
