Skipping a family reunion that other people are travelling hundreds of miles to attend. I can't face relatives as a 33 year old NEET.
Please hold me, r9k. Don't let yourselves get to this point.

At least that means you're living on your own. Try being 35 living with parents and always have them shouting downstairs for me to come down whenever my relatives come visit.
I wouldn't mind a suicide buddy, you interested?

Actually, I moved back in with my parents last year. That's why me skipping is particularly awkward.

The feels of my current life are certainly worse than any feels death has to offer. Just not intolerably so at this point.

What excuse have you made? Or will you just "vanish" the day they're visiting?
>>29989506
I kind cut contact with them.
Just be urself. Unless you love love anyone, just take the time to self improve or chill instead.

It's occurring right now as I type. It's at a relative's house 10 miles from me.
I considered vanishing... but I couldn't think of anyplace to go on a weekend. So I just stayed in my room.
My parents asked me if I was going earlier this week. I just gave a flat "No".

Ah, that's what I'd normally consider a blissful situation. I always do a "No" when they're going away, parents probably talk loads of shit about me being unsociable whenever they're away since there seems to be such a reputation going around about me. Just forget all about it, chill and enjoy your temporary solitary freedom mate, waltz down to the kitchen, put a drink in the freezer and cook something nice. Feast while watching some anime.

Really wish I could pick this advice up.
I'm already at that point, just a few years younger than you. Try not to think about it too much. Do whatever helps to distract you, whether it's vidya, porn, movies, etc.
