I've noticed that the board has slowed down tremendously since Pokemon was released. I think the normalfags and underageb& got bored of 4chan and started going outside.
there's been a spike in the shit level today. i offer no hypotheses, i can't think of any reason why it could get so bad seemingly randomly. i've actually been reduced to closing my browser, staring at my desktop background picture for about 20 minutes, then opening r9k up again and remembering its shit and closing it again. i've been repeating this process for the past 8 or 9 hours.
