Any tips on filing for disability in the US? I tried it before and was shot down, but realize I didn't emphasize certain aspects of my mental illness that do indeed limit my functioning (moreso than what I had told them).

From my own experience and what I've heard online, seems like the USA is a lot tougher to get qualified than Australia and some Euro countries. Sucks.

Anyways, any tips would be appreciated. Butthurt wagies please keep out.

Apparently you need to get a lawyer to help you for any chance of getting qualified, they take a percentage of your income if you're successful
