I've been in a simular situation and, just like you, I had turned down some girls before for various reasons and blew it with others. Anyway, she flirted with me and even went on a date with me, before it transpired that she had a long distance boyfiend.

Although that's very true and I know plenty of dumbasses who fail out of CC (it actually happens) I'm sure it was more of a financial situation with her. CC is relatively cheap compared to UC's and CS's that charge 10x for foreign students. Some of my Asian friends were talking CC classes just to save money, not that they couldn't cut it at a University.
