anyone ever wish they lived in some small hick town or a smoky detective noir? seems cosy in the movies
your only thought is how to get enough money for drinks, everyone has the same low ambitions, youd drink at the same old dive bar every night, you might fuck the town whore or work at a family business.. or just slip through the cracks and disappear into the smoke and drink

finished up school, spent all my savings on applications, was accepted and had a panic break. So no debt but no money and no prospects (bad consequences of my actions(
I'd been working for a shipping company throughout my undergrad in the shitty town I'm in driving trucks around the state.
Boss told me I could do some night runs if I moved to the next biggest little town.
Now I'm living in a small city, driving trucks and doing deliveries until like one in the morning. Hang out in bars til about four, go to bed, sleep until time to go to my shift again.
Easy and plenty of time to chill, I just have practically nothing compared to most guys my age. Only hook up maybe once a week with one of three women who are dtf with me in this town.
It's endlessly sustainable, I could do this til I died I imagine. Night deliveries can be dangerous though I want to get out someday.
