In my first year studying to be a primary school teacher, hoping to spend some time here before teaching abroad in England since I'm half-English myself. Wouldn't mind teaching in Japan at some point aa well.

I don't mind working with kids, I had the same thought about elementary though. Hence why I took that over middle/high.
For study it's pretty just going over the basic studies, so far I've done environmental science, a bit of history, math, children's literature and that kind of stuff.

OP, do NOT pursue a degree in psychology. Did you know psychology is one of the most popular degrees in the nation? That is because there is NO body like ABET which standardizes the quality of psych degrees, causing a lot of people to go into them thinking its "a hard science but also pretty easy with not too much math". The quality of psych degrees has been watered down so much by the huge population wanting to pursue psych that the degree is almost literally worthless after you graduate, basically on the same level as a *** studies degree.
What are you planning on doing after you graduate? Math might be a good option but it all depends on what you wanna do - you will have to work very hard to be successful if you major in either math or psych, though

don't mean to be rude of anything but unless you really have your heart set on this and work really hard this probably won't happen
there are very few professional mathematicians in the world and getting hired as one is a very difficult path
but, a math degree is very employable though, and is often a good choice - it's versatile enough to go into CS, go into engineering, or go into business
