Yes, in essence, negrogenetics are prime. It helps to have very feminine physical characteristics before you transition. Wide hips and narrow shoulders look very feminine, very nice. If you aren't born with the stuff, you'll never look as nice. Surgery will only take you so far.

Start transition early, otherwise be lucky with genetics.
By 20 it's generally "too late", or you'll always have features that look male, and you'll probably need surgery.
