I see it a lot on this site - people who've cut themselves off from all there is to see and do in the world. Sure 'Depth' when it comes to Pokemon is relative. But Pokemon FireRed was actually pretty great. There was a story, you could battle others, train pokemon etc. Still superior to this barebones freemium app that's nothing more than a cash-grab.

It's a terrible game, but the social aspect makes it amazing. Streets are safer because they're crowded with Pokemon players, even tonight at 11:30pm I met some old man with a big grey beard in a pitch black park playing it. We ended up travelling down the Main Street for like an hour together just shooting the shit. Even me, a jobless NEET has scored two dates just from talking Pokemon to girls. This game is fucking amazing and you should all be playing it.
