Like half an hour after its creation I went onto a "post details of people you hate" thread on /b/, and there was my account posted. Anons tried to figure out who I was and I got so scared I deleted all my pictures I saved from 4chan and didn't go on again for a week.

I won an argument and the other person actually admitted being wrong and changed his opinion rather than just not responding. Some other guy in the thread said they had never seen that happen before. It felt good. I don't even remember what the argument was about.

Right when /lgbt/ was made, it was kind of a cool place for making small talk or reaching out to like minded people. There were a lot of threads about guys and their struggles of not fitting in with nerds because they're gay and not fitting in with gays because they were too fat, too poor, too whatever else. I ended up in a thread, talking with this other anon who was a punk, used to talk about how he'd start bar fights just for the thrill of getting beat up. We ended up encouraging each other to stay tough and to be ourselves, to not let our community pressure us into becoming something we didn't want to be just to fit in.
Now /lgbt/ is such a shithole.
