I used to smoke a lot of weed. It never bothered me when people didn't smoke. It's a personal choice, just like I made the choice not to drink alcohol because I didn't enjoy it.

Depends on alot of things. However quitting does improve memory, makes you more clear headed, more energy, etc. If you are very depressed then no it will not help as much, however it is a step in the right direction so if you build momentum with more positive choices you can escape

Just don't understand how people can consider themselves outcasts from society and not try weed. You have nothing to lose except your money; it was literally made for people like you to escape your shitty lives. There's nothing quite like hitting a blunt or a bong after work or a long day of doing nothing & passing into the most beautiful sleep. Compared to opiates, benzos, stims, psychs, and alcohol, weed is much much much more tame in terms of side effects. Opiates made me shit alot, stims sent me to the hospital, psychs have permanently altered my thought processes, but the worst weed has ever done is made me think too much.
Personally though I prefer smoking by myself over smoking with other people; mostly because of the money part. If a friend is trying to pressure you into trying weed its only because they want to see what your reaction to being high the first time is. If you end up liking it though then you have 2 issues. Issue 1 is that your friend/friends will not smoke you up for free more than the first 2-3 times. Issue 2 is when you start throwing down money to smoke, you will end up in situations where a friend may be broke and may pressure/expect you to smoke them up. Be particularly wary of females, they abuse the fuck out of the free weed tactic from poor suckers

I've a friend who can't sleep without weed and another who feels sick after a day. The former often stays awake for days on end when he's broke - he gets government bennies - and has resorted to stealing and double crossing to get money for weed.
The latter I lent money to once and he tried to snake me so I got it back via threats and then told him I'd never lend to him again.
Never lend to stoners and don't buy in to the 'It's not addictive' lie: it is INCREDIBLY addictive and corrosive to the wallet.
I have tried it about three times and every time it just makes my head woozy for about a minute and then I'm done.
