The problem with racial pride is that the people to subscribe to this form of pride tend to only take credit for the good their race has done whilst never even acknowledging the bad.
If taking credit for the achievements of memebers of your race makes you feel good then by all means have your pride, but also be prepared to take credit for all of the bad that memebers of your race have caused.
