Let's have a general night owl and nighttime feels thread.
Example:
>Why do you like the night more than the day?

Personally I'm less reserved at night and I suppose that's a good thing in our extroverted world; and ofc there is less people to bother me with their shit at night, so more time to myself.

>What do you like doing at night?

I tend to hit the gym around 9 during the weekdays as the feels/motivation is higher for me at night. I also enjoy taking night walks to look at the stars and just wander around while thinking about life, n shit. Also occasionally take photos, pic related from last night, have more if interested.
>>
>Why do you like the night more than the day?
It's nice and quiet, very comfy atmosphere. No loud noises outside, no people around. Feels like nothing exists outside of my room.

>What do you like doing at night?
I do all my job applications at night because I can actually concentrate without all the day noise. Sometimes I go for a walk to the corner store to buy snacks.
>>
>>29916782
>day noise,
live in at city or what?

I feel ya on the snacks, ever see anything interesting on the walks?

>What do you like about the night more than the day
It sounds edgy but I really do enjoy the darkness more then the sunlight. Also >>29916782
>What do you like doing at night
Reading in the dark in my bed with a small desk lamp illuminating my book. I'm currently reading American Psycho
>>
>Why do you like the night more than the day

I can do whatever I want without being bothered.

>What do you like to do at night?
Longboard, nightwalks, attempt to jog or cycle.
It's a little harder now though now that all these goddamn Chads are running around with their poon of the night playing PokemonGO.
>>
>>29916844

I feel the same way. I feel more at home and comfortable in the dark.

>Why do you like the night more than the day?
It's quieter, prettier, and more mysterious. It's like how I like my women. IF I HAD ANY.

>What do you like doing at night?
Primarily posting on 4chan, chatting with friends, and wasting my life away.

However, when I can, walks in the city at night are fucking heavenly. Bright neon, only the occasional car passing by, the air crisp and fresh. A whole new branch of people with interesting stories, you wonder just WHY these folks are up at this hour, it's fucking beautiful and fascinating.

I'm sorry, I just...FUCK I love nights in the city.
>>
>>29916844
>edgy
Nah man I can see it, personally I'd have to agree with ya. Sun is always irritating, especially in summer when everything is so damn bright, I suppose having eye issues doesn't help tho.
>Reading in the dark
Can't say I've been able to read American Psycho yet, frankly haven't read a good book in awhile, last real good one was The Master and Margarita.

>>29916851
Jesus I feel ya on the Pokemon shit, when I went out last night I couldn't figure out for the life of me why the hell there was so many more people, when usually I'd see one or two others tops. Eventually realized it after some guy drove by me and shouted something about Caterpie being nearby.
>>
>>29916945

Forgot where I read it, but I read that twilight and dawn could be considered sort of a human's "natural" and most comfortable state, where he can see but not be irritated by the light

What genre do you like generally anon? American Psycho is great so far, but I can't recommend it until I've actually finished it. The Exorcist is phenomenal, a bit long but one of the best books I've read in awhile.

I'd head over to /lit/ some time too. They're a bunch of assholes, but the sticky is great and they do have some good taste in literature.

That's a wonderful feeling my friend. Sadly I don't live in the city so mostly just parks, quiet streets and if I feel like a walk through the small, local, commercial area. Here's some neon for ya.

Pretty much any fiction desu, I've really been falling behind on my reading the past few months. Specifically though as prev stated enjoyed "The Master and Margarita", also big fan of "Definitely, Maybe" and "Hard to be a God" (I like them Soviet authors). Pretty much enjoy anything that shows a dynamic range of character development I guess, if it's more negative/cynical the better I'd say. Also big fan of broad scope books, and stuff that has multiple levels if you will.
Some more books would maybe be "Stranger in a Strange Land" or "Catcher in the Rye" (ik meme lvl book but I like it). Used to enjoy the Inheritance series and I'm halfway into the dark tower (really lovin that shit but no time to read).

also worth noting would be a book called "The Ploughmen" , great fictional book about a small town cop and his interactions with a criminal.

>Live in Ausfailia, land of skin cancer

To me the Sun represents everything I fucking hate in this world. It represents normies and suffering. I hate the feel of it on my skin and in my eyes.
When I go outside and see a clear blue sky I think I feel the same way others do about cloudy days. I feel like absolute shit. Just a smigin of yellow light completely ruins everything.
I can see better in the dark and it isn't so unbearably hot at night, most normal people are inside and I can wear covering clothing without drowning in my own sweat.
If the night was a person I would marry them 11/10
>>
I feel if I try to explain it , id just sound like an edgelord to everyone

I just like the dark, its nice and somber, very relaxing. walking alone can be a bit uneasy depending where you are but I find night driving or riding a motorcycle at night to be the best. The street lights and ambiance of everything just feels great.

less people is cool too, could mean more club sluts or chads out though but they usually keep to themselves.

Been to Arizona, quite a number of times since my dad's mother lives down there. Kinda ok since we go in the winter but I always come back with a nasty ass cough for some reason. Can't imagine how shitty it must be during the summer the woman will always tell me how athletes come in for heat stroke and whatnot (she works in a hospital).

>>29917421
Is it ever bearable at all or just pure shit all the time (excuse my ignorance, live in Illinois/US and worst it usually gets around here is 90s and humid as shit.)
>>
I'm planning a film. Vagabonding out and around (often in the night).

I need 1-3 people to help me with it. It's going to be about hitchhiking and traveling on trains.

I'm so fucking sick of being a NEET. I planned to join the military but due to complications that isn't happening yet. I am getting a job to save for this doc/film idea and I plan to actually do it.

Any NEETs here who hate their lives and want to die? I need a cameraman or (not required) another dude to travel with me.
>>
>>29917539
The cough is probably from the shitty plants that spill out shitty spores and shit, or not being used to the dirt in the air.
>>
I know this probably sounds cringy as fuck but feel like a rogue. There are not many people outside at night but the people who are are usually really friendly or extremely hostile. Its also when the crazies come out.
>>
Anyone else relate to this...feeling? I guess it's a feeling as I don't really know what else to call it.

>night
>drive through town
>see a small hardware store/convenience store with it's lights on
>think about how cozy it would be to just be in that building sitting next to the window

Something about smaller buildings lit up at night I like. It's like a non-sexual fetish.

Hell we all get ya man, don't worry bout it.

>walking alone can be a bit uneasy depending where you are but I find night driving or riding a motorcycle at night to be the best.

That's the part that always gets me, I like walking but if I'm not around at least some lights I start to get bit paranoid or something (suppose I get that from my crazy ass mother).

Love to drive too but I start to feel bad about wasting my money on extra gas and the whole saving the planet agenda and whatnot. Nothin beats driving and listening to some good music tho.
>>
>>29917641
I know the exact feel anon

Being in empty stores at night really is cozy as hell. I was always last in the store after closing for about an hour when I was a wagecuck in college, and sometimes I'd just sit around and enjoy the ambience.

Where do you live? I can help you

>Why do you like the night more than the day?
It's quieter, it looks cooler, it reminds me of all my favorite movies, I like drinking and smoking and they feel better at night, I like feeling seedy and like I could witness something bad, I wear all black so sometimes I like to think to myself "I am the night" and blend in with shadows

>What do you like doing at night?
Lately I have been watching old film noir movies all night. I generally watch some kind of movie, my favorites are horror, noir, action, and westerns. Typical genre trash I know but I like them best. I also do my best writing at night, I am a playwright and sometimes write films too.
>>
>Why do you like the night more than the day?
It's quiet. There's no hustle and bustle like during the day. There's a certain stillness of the environment that I particularly enjoy. And as I'm from Los Angeles, it's also much cooler in temperature at night.

>What do you like doing at night?
I usually like to take that time to actually venture outside as opposed to being inside all day. Sometimes I'll keep near my house and smoke a cigarette or two. Sometimes I walk for a couple miles and clear my head, especially when I'm feeling depressed. Just depends.

If you live in Queensland or anywhere northeast/coastal it's sweaty as fuck, night and day.

In some of the desert areas or NSW it's plains as far as the eye can see. Similar to desert with really hot days and really cold nights (cold for an Ozfag).

Sometimes it's at that pleasant chilly temperature when it's cloudy. But you won't see dem lovely clouds anytime but winter.

And drought season makes Oz a living hell. Some of the trees in this country can't exist without bushfires.

>Why do you like the night more than the day?
I can do whatever I want. I can walk down the street smoking a joint without getting weird looks or having to worry about my appearance. I can break into the nearby community garden and steal cactuses for my room. The rare times there are people out, they cross the street to avoid the guy in all black walking around at 2am.

>What do you like doing at night?
Getting high or drunk, then walking around listening to sad music. Sometime's going to a nearby cliff and contemplating jumping.

Quiet, calm, cooler, cosier to curl up indoors, plus I don't feel as alone. I'm less depressed/anxious at night. And I don't have to talk to people. I love looking at the stars.
