I'm considering doing a report about those "Genitals do not define gender" morons exposing them as a weird subculture that no one takes seriously ( in my country this is pretty much unknown), so i've been doing resarch and i cant find where or how this shit originated, somebody know?

Probably originated from the fact that society genders people based on secondary and teritary sex characteristics.
Most languages don't have a word like "gender" it's the same as sex. Only British and American has the word gender, which originated from psychology, as a synonymous for sex from a societal perspective rather than purely biological.
