does anyone know what these weird things are?
i have a wall-mounted heater in my computer room, and earlier, when i wanted to turn up the heat, there was like 60 of these things right under the heater. i vacuumed the entire room afterwards and thought it was over with. but already the next day, i saw at least 20 more at the exact same place.
what the hell are they? some kind of insect egg?
for scale, they are about 2-3 millimeters long.

I agree with this robot probably termites or carpenter ants, hard to say as there is no scale in the image provided.

i'm looking at rodent droppings on google, but it doesn't quite look like it. rat poop seems to be darker and rougher.
here are some more pics.

i think that's the right answer. i googled their eggs and found this. near identical match. and we have had problems with ants since we moved in a few years ago.
