If you were that kid who put their head down on their desk a lot in school do you think you came across as sort of autistic?

no, i think i just came across as mostly sleepy
>>29888248
you didn't you came across as a blazing autist
Yeah, at points. When I had friends I just came across as a guy who doesn't give a fuck, but when I became a loner it was pretty clear I did that out of autism.

I actually slept in school.
But I preferred to read. First I would read the text book under my desk, then I would read my library book for the day. Apparently reading is against the rules in class. So I would get kicked out. Eventually I just put my head down instead which wasn't against the rules.
I think people thought it was more autistic that I could answer the teachers gotcha question despite being asleep during her lecture. I am not a genius or anything. I just read the text book .
Question: Why the fuck do people read so damn slow.

>I think people thought it was more autistic that I could answer the teachers gotcha question
what does that have to do with autism.
children today seem to think autistic means nerdy. we need to go back to the 80s.
fuck man i wish i would have know laying your head down in class was a symptom of autism. i would have just straight slept through HS/college with zero fucks given, and then when my teacher/professor called me out i could just play the spectrum card. damn.
