I think the only good reddit boards are the ones that post content, any discussion board is garbage

boards like /r/doujinshi and /r/hentiny
boards like /r/writingprompts and /r/askreddit when it's asking for stories or nonserious posts
boards like /r/awwnime and /r/pantsu and /r/moescape
/r/askscience and affiliated boards, etc

all the discussion boards and general discussion sections where plebs post their dumbshit opinions quickly devolve into butthurt garbage, the donald put the final nail in the coffin by attracting every remaining retard on the internet not yet on reddit

but I do agree some parts of reddit are ok. Mostly just the porn and picture and story parts.

the system is not really designed well for encouraging conversation - imagine if every single one of your comments was rated against others, do you think that's a comfortable atmosphere to discuss? Not even considering the fact all of your comments and opinions are then easily viewable, although you can get over this quickly
