I think it was pretty gradual, I was pretty popular in grade school as the class clown until middle school. Where I became pretty awkward and people found me more and more creepy and sad. I dropped out at 16 with poor grades and eventually got my GED and applied for some shitty wage slave positions at fast food restaurants where I was turned down.

Getting a Job got me out of it.
