It means he considered me not totally repulsive and disgusting, which is a good thing. It would make me slightly unconfortable and I would try to deflect his conversation attempts in a friendly manner to end the interaction as soon as possible, mostly to prevent myself from saying anything stupid or embarrasing. If the conversation ends on my terms, he can't end the conversation on his terms. As long as I'm in control of the interaction, he can't hurt me.
