I did 10 sit-ups and 10 press-ups yesterday in my quest to become healthier.

My abs are hurting like hell and my arms feel weak when I raise them.

Is this normal?

I think so.

Once I tried to get /fit/ and did pushups, i could barely do 3 on my first try, but a week and a half later i could do 6. I was shocked and proud that I was able to do this.

But you atrophy so fast, if you dont keep it up you go back to step 1, now i can barely do 3 again. Its kinda sad, and amazing how the body reverts.

I dont have time to do excercise all the damn time

the 24 hour "pain" its normal, its mean your muscle fiber were put to use and forced to break and regrow stronger than before.
eat your proteins and good carbs though. or it will be useless
